You Don’t Need More Leads (How I Have The Same Writing Clients From 2024)
You Don’t Need More Leads (How I Have The Same Writing Clients From 2024)
David Mamet is a genius. He has written plays that hold up when you turn them into movies, which is a hard thing to do if you know anything about movies or plays. One of everyone's favorites is Glengarry Glenn Ross which was adapted into a movie in 1992. Alec Baldwin steals the entire movie with only being on screen for around 8 minutes. He introduces the idea that there is something so powerful that it makes sales for you: The GlenGarry Leads.
Give me the leads!!!!!
After the struggling salespeople in the movie hear his speech, hijinks ensue. In most sales endeavors, a source of constant leads is indeed the thing. In building a writing as a service business, however, this isn’t the case.
You Don’t Need More Leads
When I ran my law firm, every month I needed new leads because I provided a one-time service. A case would come in. I would then work the case and it would close. I did not get paid on a recurring basis so I had to get more cases constantly.
My current business is not like that.
I get paid a monthly retainer by my clients to produce a deliverable on a weekly cadence. Namely, I ghostwrite a newsletter for brands, CEOs, and founders. My clients need a good newsletter every single week so they pay me month after month. I still have the same main clients I did in 2024.
I do this by using a repeatable framework that is designed so that I don’t burn out on it. I cannot be replaced by AI (for multiple reasons) and I have very little interaction with my clients. Basically, I drink coffee and go clickety clackity on my keyboard working less than I did when I was a lawyer, with zero stress.
“Sounds great Wade. What does that have to do with me?” You ask.
Well, let me tell you. James Carran and I once more are hosting another cohort of the Ghostletters Seminar where I teach my framework (including how to get clients) and he teaches you how to be a better writer (he is a published author in multiple genres after all).
The last time we did this was 2024 so if you don’t want to wait a year until we do it again, keep reading.
(We also may never do another live cohort, as we are turning it into a course.)
((BONUS: Everyone who buys the seminar gets the course for free when it comes out.))
The Ghostletters Seminar
First of all, it’s $600. I tell you the price upfront because I know it’s worth it. If you get one client using my framework it's a $1,000 a month deliverable, or $12,000 a year. Can I guarantee that you will do even this? NO. I don’t know how hard you are willing to work. I don’t know if you have a command of the English language. In other words, I don’t know what you are capable of.
Only you know that.
However, if you are willing to bet on yourself and you think you can do it, there is no reason for you to not at least look at the sales letter.
The cart is open now and closes at 11:59pm EST on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026.
It doesn’t matter if you want to make 1k a month or change careers, you know it is possible with this framework because I have done both. It is not rocket science once you get the hang of it. Building a writing as a service business changed my life. Writing can change yours if you let it.

James and I will make it fun and worth your time. It would be great to see you there.
(Don't worry, it won't just be you. People have already bought from the waitlist and our email lists.)
